Mufasa: The Lion King Review

Directed by Barry Jenkins and written by Jeff Nathanson, this prequel to The Lion King (1994) explores Mufasa's journey from orphaned cub to king and his complex relationship with Taka (Scar)

Breathtaking CGI with stunning landscapes, emotional expressions, and the magical world of Milele. Themes of brotherhood and legacy shine, but Scar’s backstory feels rushed and less compelling.

A visual masterpiece with engaging moments, though it falls short of the original’s narrative and music. A must-watch for its cinematic beauty.
